Rampart of smiles is a joyful prose that talks about the happiness of a common girl!
I walk down a lamp-lit street

I walk with the blowing breeze

I look at the sky up there

And smiling is the moon so fair!

It’s smiling at the night, deep and blue

In the heavens where angels grew!

I smile at it walking through

It too says; it’s walking too!

Am singing with the swinging trees

Where love does get unleash!

I move with these walking wheels

Am alone in these lamp-lit streets

I still walk these lovely streets

To see how ecstatic it feels!

I throw away my worries now

Break free into the heavens above!

I sing like the happy birds

Kiss the dew in my untold words

I cross the road like a learned child

I come to a lady who turned and smiled!

She carried a big heavy sack

And looked at my brick-red bag!

I knew, she was a lady in need

She wanted some help indeed!

I helped her carry her heavy bag

She thanked for a good deedful sack!

I smiled for I helped her pray!

Thank you Lord! For a pleasant day!

I note down one more reason for my smile,

I walk down now, for yet another mile!

Meanwhile I feel the dimming dusk

Like the fading light on the settled dust!

Purple flowers are falling in the light.

Brushing my face, so gently this night!

Wind is here, sweeping my hair.

My face purely feels the untouched air!

And the air here that meets my arms.

I embrace the fragrance that slowly calms!

I'm humming a happy tune

As of the light dust over the dune!

I feel, I glow and shine.

I feel, all the joy is mine!

I move with some unknown smiles,

I got them when I walked those miles!

I look up, my head up high,

I notice the diamonds smiling by!

This beautiful refreshing eve,

Filled a sense of life in me!

I don't know why am happy through,

So the world calls me, the beautiful you!
