Never leave hope, you will get another chance. In a better way too. |
AND HE MOVED AGAIN Sun was furious, glowing red hot in anger Scalding everything under the great roof Poor blanket of thin air could protect no one Wilting were the plants, flowers and every leaf Gaping was every form of life Burning were the mountains Parched was the thirsty earth It was a scorching hot summer day All of a sudden a traveler came out of nowhere And was trapped in the gruesome fare He staggered in the direction of his path But soon he lost all his strength He had no water left He fell and with him fell his hopes to his destination With wet eyes and dry mouth he searched the sky But the sky was cloudless and merciless Under the despair and loss of strength, His eyes succumbed to the weight of their lids Gradually the world was fading away With him were left few streaks of breaths And few streaks of flickering hope Trying to leave him, but he would not open his fist. Soon he was unconscious, lying motionless But still closed were his fists. Suddenly there arose a roar of wind and dust The tyrant sun retreated and hid himself The sky and earth were filled with clouds and dust Then fell the first drop on the parched open mouth of the traveler And it rained and rained and rained Showers caressed all the victims of the day The earth, plants, flowers, mountains, life And the poor traveler. Rain had stopped, it was twilight now The night sky was clear and cool The great roof was now under the reign of Moon It was filling the world with its cool shines Soft cold Breeze was blowing away every scar of the day The Rose was fragrant again Every leaf was alive again Life had returned in all it’s colours Under those blessed moments The traveler stood afresh He felt the surroundings And started his journey again Guided by the shines of Moon Clad in the soothing cold Breeze Filled with the fragrance of the Rose Mumbling songs of life He moved to his destination. |
