What I felt one night.
The air is more stale than ever
The crackling of a burning cigarrette and the cars humming in the distance pierce the ears
Burning smoke and the numbing feeling of being completely alone
Dreams fill the void of lost hope all around
Nightmares shake the bitter reality of truth
Burning slowly through the night with each drag of sanity that might be somewhere left in my mind
When will these heavy eyes come to a rest that's much needed
With smoke filled lungs I slip into a comatose feeling of darkness
The air turns crisp as the crackling fades
What will tomorrow bring that wont destroy what already isn't there
What will frequent my mind that I haven't already seen
What will tomorrow bring
What will....

Something I wrote sitting on my porch tonight. First thing i've written in a long time. it's rough, but oh well.
