Tale of the Dew Drop |
THE DEW DROP The winter night was cold and chilling Birds were huddled in nests Beasts were curled up in their caves Smaller ones hid in their burrows Children were in their thick quilts Each one had its own blanket, To fight the cold night A losing battle though. All were shivering The night was getting darker and darker Making the blankets thinner and thinner Soon it would be unbearable Soon the chill would stop all shiver Soon it would take away the life from under every blanket Yet the war was going on, shivering was every soul During those painful moments, Descended something from the heavens A drop of dew was born With it, descended a colorless blanket, On the shivering world of life. Soon faded the shivers and came a cozy comfort The dew drop had brought back life to every life Then appeared first ray in the east The sun had started its daily journey The sun had come to conquer the night With it was coming a new day Full of warmth, hope and life World was filled with the morning glow. During those moments of new life Silently vanished the Dew Drop It had served its purpose. It lived to protect the life and went away silently, When it was no more needed. What a magnificent life, lived the tiny Dew Drop. In the day full of hope and life, I started to meet my beloved. Searched her everywhere but she would not appear Tired and exhausted, I found shelter under a tree Her absence was becoming unbearable In those crawling moments, In the corner of my dry eye, a Dew Drop was born And I felt lighter, felt her, felt her fragrance, felt life again Suddenly from behind a distant tree There appeared a flutter of pink cloth And appeared my beloved With her large beautiful eyes, Smilingly she moved towards me. Life in its most beautiful manifestation, Was moving towards me, was mine. I rose and approached her And cuddled her with all my strength The strength of love, feelings and what was left within me. During those beautiful moments, Silently vanished the Dew Drop, After living yet another magnificent life. |
