A lovely poem about a Marriage Proposal.
Along the river we walked hand in hand;
On the gilded bridge we pledged our love.
On your finger you wore my golden band.

Under a moonlit sky the heavens smiled
As stars twinkled brightly up above.
The moon, like some impatient child,
Eves dropped as we declared our love.

Starry- eyed you began to sigh and cried
On bended knee I made my solemn plea
And asked you humbly to be my bride.

If Saints have ears, then they should listen to me
My heart resonates with joy in a festive symphony.
