Jewel-toned Words

My entry for the Amazing 55 word contest.

She worked with words. She wrote beautifully crafted sentences, each one a perfect, flawless gemstone of lyrical prose. Words, strung together like the finest pearls from the South Pacific. She had a veritable treasure trove of adjectives, adverbs and alliteration.

Yet, when he touched her, all she could say, all she could think, was “Yes”.
