lonely days

it is a small poem expressing the feelings of a lonely heart.

Reasons surround me, stop me from moving ahead,
Life seems unfriendly when my heart is left all alone.

Sometimes to face loneliness becomes so discomforting,
That the pain within needs to be reflected through the teary eyes.

The persistence of the silent world beckons me to cry,
But alas! the tears seem to flow only when i am happy.
