Just a piece I wrote about my general life. |
Everyday I awaken with a sense of excitement and joy- The adrenaline rushes through my veins and I can feel the energy pulsating from my breast, I throw off the covers and rush from my bed, Thoughts and feelings are dancing in my head. The mornings are tranquil and serene, In the summer the trees are brilliant shades of varying greens, Later, autumn winds toss their branches to and fro, Until the winter comes- then the branches are burdened with snow. Springtime marks the coming of rain, And revives green land that winter made plain. I am hungry from the natural fast, Sustenance awaits me upstairs- From my morning peace I am moving towards the daily affairs, My day will be filled with companionship, boredom, and cares, I know this and so I take my tasks with pleasure, I do my best to maintain my life and it's treasures. In my balance this beauty shall last. Nearer to the setting of the sun, The part where we settle, our work is almost done, My family is home where we belong, We will love each other to the end; Whether they are on earth or they have gone. My mind is now sinking slowly into fatigue, I pull the covers over my body and rest my head, The energy is slow and falling far away, I longingly look forward towards the next day. |
