A boy meets a strange, childish, inhuman girl who is affiliated with an unknown Company.
-_= Chapter One - The Girl =_-

"Phew! What a day." I said in my usual, mid-toned voice.

I sat on the, soft, park grass and leaned against a big oak tree, hand behind my head.

Yep! That's me, alright. Just your regular, everyday guy. By the ways, the name's Andre. I got Short, Light brown hair spiked up with my bangs left down, grass green eyes. My face is nothin' special. A few freckles on my cheeks, like most guys these days. Tan skin, because i'm always outside, due to my parents being old fashioned. I guess I'd say I'm pretty well built, curtousy of my army Sargent of a dad. I wore a white shirt under an old fashion country style coat with the sleeves rolled up over my elbows and some blue jeans with brown work shoes, but that wasn't my work uniform. Just somethin' I kept from my old home. I'm about 6'5" feet tall and 17 years old. My parents own a rodeo, and let me tell you, my dads a regular jar head. He's got the medals to prove it and will not hesitate to do so. My mother is the regular ol' farm girl. How the two met, beats me.

From all my other siblings, a bro and three sisters, I'm the most 'city' of them all. I moved out at the age of 16 and life's been pretty good so far. Sure, It's only been a few months since school, but I'm DAMN glad it's over. Finaly! Away from most of those judgmental nut jobs. Other then the ones I'm stuck workin' with in the Music shop. Can you believe the shop's actually called 'Sterio Central'. Sounds like a radio channel to me, but that's only a temporary job.

I can tell ya', I don't plan on workin' here for long. I'm plannin' to go into a more hands-on job, not just stayin' couped up in a store all day. I could never really sit still for that long and sometimes found myself wondering around when it was slow day.

Today was just horrible. Three people got in a fight over some dumb Hip-Hop cd. It was the last one. I ended up having to kick them out of the store, since security was out on break. I got repremended for that for peat sake!

....Anyways. I was just loungin' aruond, minding my own bussiness. I decided to take a little nap. Now what I wasn't aware of was that I wasn't alone.

After about an hour, I felt something brush against my nose, making me sneaze. I forced my eyes open by instinct to see that bundles of flowers were all around. You could say they even burried me. I shook the flowers covering my face off and looked at the other flowers that covered me. I raised a brow.

"Where the heck did all these dang flowers come from...?" I asked.

I slowely got up, making the loose flower fall off of me and back to the ground. Some still clung to me, but I just dusted them off. I then refocused my eyes to the front and found myself staring into a pair of big blue eyes!

"Whoa! What the-" Was all I could manage before tripping backwards and then...

Conk!

I hitting my head on a large, low branch. I fell back down against the oak tree, holding the top of my head where the branch hit.

"Yay! Hailey's magic trick worked!" An exited female voice shouted. I looked back up to see somethin' I thought was impossible.

I couldn't believe my eyes. Right in front of me was a naked teenage girl who seemed to be covered in a thick layer of orange-red fur. Their were some lighter shades of fur on her mou....err...short muzzle, down the front of her neck, covering her C-Cup breast, leading down to her stomach area and ending in between her thighs. She had big, foxy ears and a big, long, fluffy, fox tail. Her redish-brown hair reached to her waist with wide bangs that stopped just above those gorgeous, big, blue eyes. She was smiling at me, innocently. She was conciderably shorter than me at 5' feet tall, even, and from the looks of it, she was 16 or maybe about to turn 17. I had to admit, for someone who probably wasn't human, she had a beautiful figure.

"...Err...Uhm..." I was at a loss for words. My face was as red as a tomato. That was my one weakness. I couldn't talk to cute girl...even it that girl is part fox, and especially if that said girl is...naked.

"Your funny..." She paused and then tapped me on the shoulder. "Tag! Your it!" She yelled, then turned tail and ran into the woods to the right

"....What?" I whispered. Looks like I missed a spot of light orange fur in the shape of a heart completely covering her...bottom.

....Wait...she ran into the woods!

"Ah, Crap!" I shouted, jumping up and racing after her. Running into the woods in Autumn!? That girls either mental or nuts! It's bear season!

I stopped after a minute, breathing heavy from my high speed sprint. I looked around for the girl in a panic. "Wild Flower! Where are ya!?" I shouted to the sky at the top of my lungs. "Ugh!" I grunted, dropping to my knees. "It's no use. I'll never find her in the-" Is all I could say, before...

"Yay! I win!" the girl said, hanging down from the branch of a tree, upside-down.

"Ho-Holy crap!" I scream, falling backwards onto my butt. "Stop doing that!" I yelled to her. She didn't seem fazed by my tone. Then a dragonfly swooped in front of her face that seemed to catch her attention.

"Buggy!" She yelled, jumping at it and reching for it, but reguardless to say, she missed and ended up landing on top of me, face in my chest. She looked up from my chest, no longer smiling, but clueless. I was blushing. "Your all red and sweatty." She said, a smile back on her face.

After she got off of me, I sat up and stared at her. She only kept smiling, returning my stare. I could keep my eyes from wondering down to her breasts. I blushed, then smack myself on the forehead.

"L-Listen..." I stopped, taking of my country coat off. "Could you please put this on." I told her. She took it from me and did so. At least she did that. "Now tell me. Who are you...and WHAT are you?" I requested.

"Mr. Neuro calls me 'Hailey'. It's a code name. And I'm a Nano Surfer." She said.

"Who's this... Mr. Neuro? And what you mean 'Code Name'? And what the heck is a Nano surfer?" I asked her.

"Mr. Neuro's this biiiiig advanced super computer." She said, stretching her arms out to her sides to simbolize 'big'. "And I just call 'Hailey' my code name because...b-because...." She paused, her attention drawn by a fallin' leaf to the side of her. Her smile slowly disappears as the leaf touched down on the ground. "Why do they fall like that? Are they dead?" She said bending over and poking it. I just ignored that I had a perfect view of her um...bottom... and scooted over to her side, looking at the leaf.

"Well yes...and no. The leaves shed in Autumn. I think it has something to do with how cold the weather is, or maybe something to do with the sun. I can't quite remember why it happens. It just...well..Happens." I explained. That's when her ear perked up and she looked at me, sitting back up.

"Oh! That reminds me, I gots something to show you." She said. I hummed in question.

She led me out to a wide open space by the edge of the woods. It looked much like an olympic swimming pool area, but their was no chlorine in the water, nor were there any bowies to separate the swimmers. There weren't even numbers marking the depth of the areas. But there was something you woundn't find in any ordinary body of water. A massive, sophisticated, advanced-lookin', hydroelectric generator. It didn't look like it had just been built, either. This had all been sitting here for a while, judging by how the grass grew through the cracks in the ciment rim of 'pool'.

What the hell was this doing here? And how could I have missed it during my recent hunting trips? Hailey came running over to me from the side of the generator, holding what looked to be high-tech jump suit. It was a little sinjed in some areas, but it was recognizable. When she got up to me, she presented the suit to me.

"This is what I was in when I woke up. It was tight and very itchy, so I took it off." She explained. I took it from her examining the designs more thuroughly. It looked a little too sophisticated to be just some sort of jump suit....wait...

"Whats this?" I said, discovering what looked like a code or cereal number. # H@!137. I raised a brow in confusion. "What the hell kinda messed up code is this?" I questioned.

"It says 'Hailey'." Hailey told me, smiling. I looked at her confused...but then I looked over the code once more and was astonished. It seemed that the code simbolized her name!

I then spotted something on the shoulder of the suit. A label of some sort. 'Property of NeuroTECH' in big, bold, computerized lettering. This 'Mr. Neuro' seemed to have his name in the label. There was some sense to what she told me after all! Perhaps all of what she told me so far WAS true!

...All of it...

I hummed in question as I noticed an odd pattern on the back of the suit's neck. I turned it over and saw what looked like a hole with four high-tech lines leading to separate oval circuits, which were damaged and scourched, coming from the hole... No way... Did she have a...

"Hailey. Turn around and lift your hair. I need to check something." I told Hailey.

"Okay!" She said, turning around and lifting her hair out of the way of the back of her neck. There it was. It was what seemed to be a slot for a jak rimmed with copper. There were many black lined coming from the slot, going no further than an inch at most.

"Damn! Doesn't that hurt?" I asked her reaching to it to feel it.

"Nah! It jus-" Is as far as she got before I actually touched it. Then she froze up, eyes wide. The lines coming from the slot lit up to a light blue for a moment after I withdrew my hand. Hailey collapsed to the ground, sprawled out. I gasped in shocked eyes wide.

"Shit!" I cursed, crouching down beside her and feeling for a pulse on her neck. It was slow, but it was there. I then flipped her over and put an ear to her chest. She was unconcious I could here slow breathing. I pulled my head up, elevating her onto my knee, shouting, "Hailey! Hailey, wake up! Hailey!" No response. I put her back down and opened one of her eye lides. Her eye was faded and light blue lines seemed to be going to her now light blue pupils. "What the hell?" I whispered softly. I let the eye lid close. "Dah! Forget it! I gotta get her home. It's the only safe place right now." I thought, lifting her up onto my arms. I then began to run back the way I came.

After 5 minutes of none stop running, I was bout ready to give up, but then I saw an opening. I went through it and found myself back in the park. It was easy to spot my dark blue, four doored Ford F-150. I ran over to it gasping for air. I opened the back seat door and placed the passed out Hailey on the back seats. I closed the door and ran around to the driver's door, search my pocket for my keys and taking them out as I opened the door. I got into the driver's seat and put the key into the egnition, turning and hold them in place until it started. Then I quickly put it in drive and drove out onto the road, going about 50, 5 over the speed limit.

As I drove down the high was I was constantly thinking about what happened back there. Why did one touch on the neck make her faint like that? Was it from pain or from some other strange cause?

All of what she told me so far both did and didn't make sense. The more I thought about it, the more complicated it seemed. I looked back at her as I came to a clear, straight way...

"...Hailey...What are you?"

-_=Chapter Two - The Deal=_-

It was now close to dusk.

As soon as I got home, I got Hailey out of the back seat and walked to the front door. tried to see if I could free one of my hands to open the door, but no luck. Luckily, I had a room mate who should be be home. Let's just hope he's awake.

I lifted on of my legs into kicking position and slammed my foot on the door twice. Then I called out, "Rick! Get the door!" I heard a snort or two, his usual reaction when waking up from a deep sleep.

"Oh uh...Andre? Hang on, man! Be there in a sec!" He shouted back in his slightly higher voice. I heard some faint thumping before finally the door was opened.

I looked at Rick a bit surprised that he got to the door in less than a minute. Rick was your regular pretty boy, but he wasn't obnoxcious at all. He was well mannered, but lazy when you left him alone. He says it's far too boring when no one was around, so it was like his brains turned to mush and he couldn't think of anything to do, but that's just anther way of sayin' he's lazy. He had blond hair with deep, blue eyes. He had light skin with absolutely no skin blemishes. He was wearing a white, sleeveless shirt under a blue and white stripped shirt and had on khaky pants with his favorite black Nike shoes. He was always smiling when a girl was around, like he was right now.

"Oh, Andre, you sly dog. Why didn't you tell me you and a hottie were involved." He teased. I blushed a hot pink with an irritated look on my face.

"Damn it, Rick! Not now!" I told him in an uproar.

"Whoa! Easy bud. I was only kidding." He said putting his hands up with panic written across his still smiling face.

"Dah, forget it. I don't have time to mess around." I told him, bypassing him and heading to Zoe's room. "She just passed out in the forest and I couldn't bring her to a hospital. Who knows what those nuts might stick into her, being that she isn't human." I continued.

"Oh! so she's an Anthro like Zoe then?" He guessed. I stopped at Zoe's doorway, looking down at Hailey.

"I guess she is. That's the only thing I can guess, but for some reason that didn't seem to go together well with that suit she told me she found herself in. I think she may have been some kind of experiment or somethin' in that category." I explained. His looked turn to confusion when he heard 'jump suit'

"What Jump Suit?" He questioned. Then it clicked into my head that I left the damn jump suit back at that generator area.

"Ah, crap!" I yelled in frustration.

"What!?" Rick yelled in panic, his smile wiped completely off his face.

"I forgot the damned thing in the woods!" I exclaimed.

"Well we don't need it do we? I mean, it's just a suit. Right?" He asked. I opened Zoe's room's door and turned on her lights, walking to the bed.

"Normally I would agree with you there, but the suit had a lot of important lookin' things on it, like a code and company label. Maybe we can find out somethings about Hailey if we can research the suit's origins." I told him, placing Hailey in Zoe's bed. He thought for a moment, then looked back to me.

"...Alright. We get the suit and then come right back... And also, her name's Hailey? I thought you said you found her out cold in the woods, but from what you just said, it seems like you left out some dets." He said. I turned around to him as calmly as I possibly could right now.

"Look I'll tell you the rest while we're in the truck, so until then, Patience." I told him a bit irritated at the moment.

After putting Hailey under the covers, we quietly walked out of Zoe's room and to the front door. I got my keysout again, getting in the driver's seat and Rick in the passenger's seat. I started the truck and and drove out onto the road again, heading back to the city.

===========================

While we were out of the house, Hailey had finally woke up, eyes snapping open now back to normal. She sat up abruptly, throwing the sheets and blankets off of her.

"Hello?" She yelled out. After a moment she climbed out of bed and opened the door, wondering to the front door. When she tried to to open it, the knob would turn. I had locked the door. I figured she would wonder out if I didn't and I didn't think she knew how to unlock it, being that she didn't seem to be bright about the outside world.

It turns out, I'd been right. She didn't understand how the lock worked, so she gave up eventually and went into the living room. It was furbished with a white, rug floor and had three comfortable, cushioned, reclinable chairs facing a 34-by-28 inch plasma screen T.V. on a dvd styled display.

She sat down on my chair, which was maroon in color. She seemed to like it as she soon found herself feeling it's soft fabrics.

"Coezy!" she blurted out, then she discovered the t.v. remote. She was curious of the power button, so she catiously pressed it and the t.v. came on. It was playing a movie on FX called National Treasure. She looked at it and cued with amazement.

===========================

Back with Me and Rick, we'de once again reached the park and traveled through the woods back to the area of the Generator and the jump suit, only to find that strange men in grey, guards' armor carrying Machine guns and rifles had surrounded the area in some sort of search. We hadn't been spotted yet, so we hid behind a large oak to figure out our next move carefully. We'de obviously wondered into something over our head.

I took one last look at their numbers.

"There's more than fifteen for sure. Not good odds if they turn out to be hostile to civilians." I whispered to Rick, then turned to him, to see him in anxioty.

"Dude. What the heck did you or that girl get into?" He whispered back.

"Like I told you in the truck, I don't know all the details, just that I woke up to her, covered in flowers, chased her into the forest, gave her my jacket and she led me to this generator and showed me a fancy ass suit. Then I touched the slot in the back of her neck. She fainted. I drove home. And here we are now. Now can we focus on NOT getting killed today." I told Rick, keeping calm.

I could see one of the guards holding the suit in his hands, examining it carefully. Well at least we didn't have IT to worry about anymore.

Then I saw something that caught my eye. A guard passing close by, his should facing us. I could make out a label. Property of NeuroTECH. I started to get suspicious. Exactly what was NeuroTECH? Some kind of company...or a secret facility. Come to think of it, I haven't even heard of such a company, so I'll go with Secret Facility.

By this time, I could make out a guard with black armor and a red shoulder pad, marking him out as the leader of the search party. He was talking with the one who found the suit, just loud enough to where I could barely make out what they were saying.

Rick had finally had enough.

"Dude. I think we've seen enough. We should get the hell out of here before we get ourselves caught." He reasoned. That was the logical thing to do, but then again, I ain't very logical. I handed him the truck keys.

"Go get the truck ready. If I'm not back within fifteen minutes, burn rubber like there ain't no tomorrow." I stopped and turned to him finishing. "Got that burned in?" I asked, a serious look in my eyes.

"...Okay. Try not to die on me." He said, sneaking away slowly and carefully, the taken of running when he was far off enough. I turned back to the black guard talking to the grey guard, tuning my ears to their conversation.

"...have gotten away, sir." I could hear Grey said.

"Tell everyone to fan out and search the area for the girl. 'Hailey' must not make outside contact or our Facity will soon be compromised. Do not harm any civilians. Don't even let them spot one of you. I want that vixxen captured and delt with quietly." Black said in a deep, russian voice. I hid back againts the tree

"Shit!" I cursed in a soft whisper. So they ARE after Hailey. I had to get out of here.

I quietly stepped back and snuck away from the area. I was surprised I didn't end up pulling a movie cleche' while I did so. I guess they are very perceptive. I began to run as I got to a safe distance, not bothering to look back. I knew what I had get moving. If I was caught, it wouldn't just be an 'Okay! Just don't let me catch you doing it again' moment. Little did I know, I was wrong. Someone was following me.

I got back to the park area, quickly spotting my already running truck. I got into the passenger's seat since Rick already took the liberty of taking the driver's seat.

"Drive! I don't wanna take any chances that they followed me." I told Rick. He shifted into drive and got on the road.

It was a twenty minute drive home, but we got there without any problem. We got out and locked the doors. We then walked to the front door, Rick in front of me. He turned to me.

"Dude...I ain't gonna lie...That was TOO close. And that black dude was....." He stopped, frozen like a statue and as white as a ghost. He didn't move; didn't make a sound.

"...Rick?" I said.

"And what about this...'black dude'." Came a deep, russian voice...The black guard's voice I turned and saw the black guard, standing a mer yard away from me and Rick. "How's about we talk about it...inside." He recommended. I glarred at him with burning hatred, while Rick slowely pulled out the house key, put it in the key slot and turned it left. If you listened closely, you could here a click from the lock being opened....wait...is it just me...or could I hear the thumping of loud music?

Rick opened the door, only to be welcomed by blaringly loud music. I swear that had to be 'Old Time Rock and Roll'

"Eh heh heh! ...Hailey seems to have found the sterio...and the surround sound function....I-I get her to shut it off..." Rick said slipping into the house. There was a moment of silence between me and the black guard.

After a few minutes, we were forced inside the house with the doors locked and sat down at the dinning room table...yea...I actually have a dinning room. Weird, huh? We all sat down. Although, Hailey sat indian style with her hand in her lap, ears down and quivering. She was obviously afraid of the guard.

The black guard remived his helmet, revealing his black eyes, pale skin and spiked red hair. He had a cocky grin on his face.

"Oh, no need to be frightened. I'm not going to kill you...unless you don't cooperate." The black guard told us, but his eyes were fixated on Hailey, who now scooted her chair closer to me and hugged my arm for comfort, leaning her head onto it. She looked like she was about to break down in tears. "But I'm curious..." He paused eying Rick. "What did you make me out to be, friend?" Rick flinched. He took a moment, then made an angry grimace, looking at the floor beside him. "Fine. I tried to make conversation, but have it your way." He said. Then he stared back to me. "Lets discuss my terms." Black said. I growled silently. "You will speak of nothing that you have witnessed today, including the search party, the generator and of course, this conversation. If you so much as try to tell ANYONE, you will both be terminated. Now...the girl. Hand her over." He told me. I looked to Rick. He had a serious look in his eyes, slightly nodding his head, no. I looked back at him, a cold expression on my face.

"No." I answered. He clenched fist and his smile was gone, and he drew his gun.

"Listen friend, don't try to be the hero. It neve-" Was as far as he got before I cut him off.

"I heard everything and I also know that you can't kill civilians. We're in a neighborhood. Any immencely populated area. Even now, when your the one holdin' the gun, you can't kill me, because It would expose you and your facility." I told him. I could see his teeth clench. He knew I was right...reguardless, he aimed his gun at Hailey, but before he could squeeze the trigger, I got out of my chair and got in front of her. He took a moment, the lowered his gun.

"Very well. She may stay, but breath a word to anyone about today and I will make sure I am the one who ends you." He told me, then got up and walked to the front door, opening it, then turned his head. "Good luck with your future endevers." He said, then walked out the door, slamming it closed on his way open.

I looked at Hailey, who was looking at me, with tears that were now fludding down her cheeks. She jumped at me and hugged me around the waist, crying into my chest. I closed my eyes. I put and hand on top of her head. I reopened my eyes and looked to Rick who had gotten up and was behind, that serious look still gleaming in his eyes.

"So...what's our next move?" He asked. I only had one thought.

"I don't know, man... I just..don't know."

-_=Chapter Three - The Reunion=_-

The next day...

My alarm went off, snapping me out of dream land. I grogily reached over to the alarm and slammed down on the snooze button. It took a second try to get it right, but I finally shut the alarm off. I looked at the alarm to see that it was 6:30 A.M.

I tried to get up, only to find that I was being weighed down by something that was clinging to my back. I looked behind me to see that Hailey was the something clinging to my back, arms wrapped around me and smiling, still asleep. Worst of all, she was no longer wearing my coat, which meant...she was completely nude.

I felt frozen. Talking to her was awkward enough right now, but having her on me was just plain uncomfortable. What if someone saw this?! More importantly, was she in my room? I broke her grip on me and slipped out of her reach.

I got up and streched while yawn. Hmph. Weird. I actually felt pretty damn good. That was unexpected since Hailey had been sleeping on me.

Today was saturday, so I didn't have work. That was good. Perhaps I should take this time to get to know Hailey better...and maybe find out more about this 'NeuroTECH'. It was most likely a top secret organization, so it's not like you could Google it. I hummed to myself in thought.

I should probably wake her up....after I get her something to wear. Zoe left most of her cloths behind when she went on vacation with her family. Maybe she won't mind if Hailey used some of them, since she really didn't have any cloths of her own, seeing as the suit is with those guys with 'NeuroTECH'.

I walked to my door and opened it and entered the living room, then closed it shut so Hailey could sleep.. I noticed that the T.V. was already on. Not only that, but someone was sitting in my recliner. I Nearly jumped as I saw big, blond fured cat ears sticking up from behind the head cushins. Zoe's cat ears!

The figure sitting in the recliner got up and approached me in soft and calm steps. There she stood. Zoe.

Zoe, like Rick said before, was a anthro. 3/4 human, 1/4 cat. That meant that she had the fur, ears and tail of a cat, much like Hailey had, while still retaining the normal human girl's figure. She had no fur patterns or secondary colors, just plain, blond fur. She had shoulder length, dirty blond hair with two long bangs that reached down to her chin; one of which was highlighted pink. She had a beautiful face with brown eyes. Rick always thought she had a cute nose. She had what most people would call a nearly perfect body. She had close to C-cup breasts, but she was just B cup, falling right under the required size. She didn't like to admit to this because she couldn't stand being taken as any less of a girl than any other. That's why she felt shy around girls either larger than her or with more outstanding features, though she wasn't shallow because of it. It was only that she felt lesser around them. She was currently wearing an orange tank top with blue jeans that were rolled up passed be knees and white, laceless, slip-on shoes. If I had to explain her attitude in one word it would be 'Tomboyish'. She stood at about 4'11" feet tall. She was even younger than me at 16 years old. The reason she was so young was because she was allowed to skip two grades. Her ears were perked and she looked a bit angry. When her ears are perked, you know something's wrong.

"Why was that girl naked in my bed? Tell me you or Rick didn't do anything funny while I was gone, Andre." She said in her kiddish voice. I was sort of hoping that she wouldn't ask that. Then it hit me!

"Wait! Did you put her in my bed?!" I asked her in an uproar. She shook her head.

"No. That she did on her own, which reminds me. She looked like a scared little girl huddling up to a big teddy bear." She told me. I raised a brow.

"Wait. What?!" I said, then glared at her coldly. "What the hell did you say to her?!" I demanded. I was close to losing it right about now. I had been to quick to jump to conclusions. The level of my anger surprised her a bit.

"Damn, Andre. Calm down. I didn't say anything offensive to her. I only told her she needed to sleep somewhere's else...even though I felt like saying something about her nudism." She explained. I calmed down, surprised to here that she went easy on Hailey. Usually Zoe would have just said it then and there.

"You didn't give your input? Who are you and what have you done with Zoe?" I joked. She looked a bit annoyed that I was joking about the matter.

"Yea, yea. The only reason I didn't was because I figured she was your girlfriend and that you two... hit it off." She admited, crossing her arms.

"You thought we...what?" I said.

"Wait. You mean you two aren't..aren't going out?" She asked. I shook my head. I saw the slightest sign of relief in her eyes for just a split second. "Then it's okay if I tell her to put some clo-"

"No." I rushed in, interrupting her. She looked at me like I was a pervert. I paniced. "Whoa, whoa, whoa! It's not like that. Her cloths, um...they got ruined. So I guess she doesn't have any. You know what I like. I would punch myself If I so much as looked at a girl wrong." I said in my defence. She dropped the subject for a moment and I sighed with relief, hand on my head as if I had a headache with my eyes closed. But then, that smile came onto her face. A devious, sinister smile that was hard to look at with a straight face.

"So. How was it?" She asked. My eyes poped wide open in shock and infuriation. I was about to snap. "Nice to have a beautiful, naked girl sleeping with you, right?" She teased. That was the last straw...

====================================

In Rick's room.

He was still sleeping soundly, snoring a bit, mouth agap. He was sprawled out in her bed with the covers and blanket half covering him and his shirt was tristed up due to him turning over constantly in his sleep.

In my room. Hailey was still sleeping like a princess, her mouth open slightly to where you could here her breathing ever so peacefully.

A peaceful scene, right. Until...

"Enough already, daamniiiit!" I shouted at the top of my lungs so loud, that it woke both of them up. Rick flipped out of his bed in a panic hitting the floor, face first and Hailey jumped up from her sleep, eyes wide in fright.

Rick looked up, grogily and declared, "Gotta be Zoe. This place is never this lively without 'er." Then he got up and walked to his door. He didn't open it. He put his ear to the door, listening to our conversation.

====================================

Back with Zoe and I.

Zoe looked a bit shocked. "Wow" She blurted. She smiled again. "So are you gonna tell or what?" She asked.

"Your still on that!" I shout unbelievingly.

"Not that. How far have you two really gone." She asked, almost sheepishly. I was about to answer, but then I looked away. I couldn't tell her everything, being that it would only mean that we'd all be killed. No doubt that even now, somehow, they were listening in on our conversation. I sighed and looked back to her.

"Look. She's only been with us one day so far. I just met her. It's just impossible for things to go that fast and she not exactly the brightest light in the house, if you know what I mean." I told her. It wasn't the most convincing thing to say. Like her age suggested, she was extremely smart and would have already figured out that I was hiding something. But this time, that was not the case. She actually seemed to believe it. She looked away from me in a temporary glare, but it quickly subsided into a sad and hurt look. I was a bit confused. Did I say something offensive.

"Okay. I believe you." She said looking back at me in a half a glaring, half hurt look. Then she smiled again, a persuasive look on her face. "So are you gonna tell her or should I?" She asked. I sigh, giving in.

"Fine, I'll tell her...but first!" I added, putting a hand up, finger pointed up so she would interrupt. "I'm..gonna...need to borrow some of your cloths." I told her hesitantly. Her look got the tiniest bit more seductive.

"I figured that." She claimed putting a hand on my shoulder. And then things got uncomfortable. I heard my door open and looked to see Hailey. She walked up to us and looked us over confused. Then she hugged me, eyes closed. My face turned red. Zoe saw this and smiled with a sly looked in her eyes. I saw that.

"Not...a word!" I told her. Then I heard a high-pitched, growl. Hailey's eyes snapped open, looking down to her stomach.

"I'm hungry! Can we eat now?" Hailey asked, just like a little kid would.

"Not just yet." Zoe answered, grabbing her by the hand. "Come with me for a moment so we can freshen you up." She said, leading her into her room and closing the door behind her. That's when Rick came into the room, smiling slyly.

"So...what did I miss." He said.

"I'll tell you later." I told him, walking to the kitchen.

=====================================

An hour later.

I had made some pancakes, about twelve in all, for breakfast and was waiting for the girls to come into the kitchen.

I started to pace waiting for them as Rick took on of the pancakes and started to eat it. I sighed, looking to Rick

"What's taking them so long?" I asked. Then Rick stopped eating with a look of frightened realization. He slowly looked to me.

"Dude...Did we just leave Hailey alone with Zoe...who hasn't the slightest idea on what happened yesterday?" Rick asked. The same frightened look of realization came onto my face. He was suggesting that Hailey probably can't keep secrets because of her inexperienced and childish mind.

"Shit!" I cursed, then began to run to Zoe's room. I could believe how careless I was. Remembering my manners, I stopped at her door and knocked.

"Yea, yea. Just a minute, I'm dressing." Zoe said.

"Is Hailey dressed?" I asked. It took a moment, but she finally gave me a reply.

"Yea." She answered.

"Send her out. I need to have a quick word with her." I told her.

I heard thumping as I stood away from her door, then the door knob turned and the door cracked open just enough for a now fully clothed Hailey to squeezed through. She was wearing an orange shirt with white short pants and had some sandles on. I was pretty stunned.

"...Wow..." I paused and then went back to being serious. "Anyways, come with me for a minute." I told her. I grabbed her hand and made her follow me, leaving her a bit confused.

What I didn't know was that Zoe snuck a look out the door. She was now suspicious of my behavior. Her intentions. What else but to spy on our little talk.

After we were in the kitchen and closed the door, Zoe opened her door, walking out without a shirt or pants, just her bra and underwear. She tiptoed up to the kitchen door and put an ear to it.

"...sten to me very carefully, Hailey. You can not, under any sercumstances, tell Zoe about where you came from, what you are or about anything that happened yesterday. She'll be put in terrible danger if you do." She heard me say, very shocked to hear I had been keeping something from her. She kept listening to our conversation

"Andre worries to much. I won't tell Zoe. She'll just have to figure it out." Hailey told me. I sighed. She might have understood, but still. With her, there's no telling for sure that she was taking this seriously.

"Fine. Go get Zoe. Tell her the pancakes are ready." I told Hailey, massaging my forehead in an attempt to ease my stress. She nodded and the turned for the door.

Zoe became aware of her approach at the sound of thumping growing louder. She quickly stepped away from the door in a panic. She still didn't have any cloths on other than her bra and underwear. Before Hailey exited the kitchen, Zoe swiftly and quietly ran back it her room, shutting the door behind her as she slipped inside.

Hailey opened the door, a smile back on her face. She walked to zoe's door and, without thinking twice, opened the door. Zoe seemed stunned as she hid her pride behind blue jeans, now wearing a pink shirt.

"Pancakes are ready! Let's go eat!" Hailey told her, in an upbeat tone. Zoe lowered the jeans and let out a sigh of relief.

"I'll be there in a minute." Zoe told her. Hailey nodded in understanding and stepped out, closing the door.

Now Zoe weighed her options, on one hand, she was sore at Andre for not telling her the whole story, but on the other hand she could have misunderstood something and be worried about 'Them' for no reason. What would she decide to do?
