A poem about two friends who finally saw why we snicker when they're always together.
It was one of the best days

After all the bright chances

His eyes shined, but doubtfully

Which only lingered for a moment.

Yesterday was the start of writing

Until noon he was filling spaces

Then she came, her face covered with sweat

Which lingered more than a moment.

She has a face of an angel

When he saw her, he was breathless

He wiped his forehead nervously

He was like that for a moment.

They're dynamic, like Chip and Dale

But all of us were not clueless

He told a joke, she laughed so hard

We all smiled for a moment.

All throughout the day they talked,

Laughed and teased, it was endless

How we wished they're together

Even for a day, or a moment.

The day ended too soon as he said

"Farewell!" as he scratched his head, oh yes

She waved goodbye and gave him a kiss

And that was the best, for the moment.

So we left, with him by our side

And he was glowing with happiness

He wore a shirt with her name on it

And that's pretty much it, for the moment.
