Knights of Heaven

Knelt before the feet of Zion,
A silent prayer is spoken.
Eyes lifted towards the Heavens;
Rendering our souls, once broken.

Driven through the taint hell fire,
Wandering both sea and storm.
Losing sight of who we once were,
Casting crowns of vine and thorn.

Step forth, out of the darkness;
Offer now; Our souls refined.
Minds clensed of wretched weakness,
Chosen by our Lord, Devine.

Upon our hearts his word is written;
Sanctuary under his wings.
Not hesitant to orders given.
Let the sound of anthems ring.

In battle, our swords prevail.
Guardians, The knights of Heaven.
Vanquishing all that which is evil,
In the name of our God, Amen.
