What's The Stupidest Thing You've Done?

What was the stupidest thing you have done recently? Mine was to take a late night cruise into the dark alleys of the street. Late one night, I was bored. I wanted to really add a bit of excitement into my life. Taking the wheel in my hand, I drove fearlessly through the oncoming shadows of the night.

Glancing up, I noticed him. My thoughts were abruptly formed – drug dealer. I thought, hey I might have a bit of fun and get a bit – just a tiny bit – of what he was selling, just for the heck of it. I switched off the engine and headed out. Exchanging a few green ones, I was immediately given a sealed bag. Opening it up, I was a bit awed, as this was my first time.

Upon waking I found myself in a ward. White walls enclosed all around me. According to the doctors, that night I lost: my wallet, all the money in my bank, my car, most of the things in my house and my parents. They had been brutally shot, twice in the head, once in the body.

Immediately a wave of guilt washed over me. I became morbidly depressed, knowing it was all my fault that this had happened. I soon began taking depressants. Lots and lots of them. Eventually this was not enough. I had to take more extreme measures. That’s when I began to contact my friends.

Living the life of a drug dealer isn’t exactly great. In your mind is the constant worry of the: authorities, jail, money, drugs and violence. But I do it all for one thing. Everyday I wake up, knowing I could not go on, not without the needle by my bedside.
