A tear welled, then fell on to her pale right arm as she drew it up to wipe the tear away. Broken marble tables blocked her way and exquisite tapestry's littered the floor. Bodies like detritus, lay strewn across grey marble benches. The dark crimson blood spoke of the time of this battle. Not long ago these limbs moved.
