Dancing in the Rain

When the clouds in the sky
Are released from up high
And fall hard to the ground,
We can shout out a sound

That is full of our noise,
All small girls and young boys
Let our voices sing songs
As it rains all day long,

Filling earth with her love,
From the sky up above;
When the stones give a moan
And the seas turn to foam

Let our song ring out loud
And our water applaud;
While the earth is deluged
May we learn of the truth

That we dance in the rain
When our lives give us pain
For the storms always pass
When half full is the glass.
