The story of a man in love with a woman but lacking the courage to tell her his feelings.
Just as the Nile river flows
into the Mediterranean sea,
totally unyielding, irrepressible and free,
with such power does his love pour into her.
Sometimes rapid & wild,
others patient and mild,
always flowing, never ceasing.

With effortless grace and beauty so sovereign,
much more elegant than any angel's face,
but not just in her face does her beauty lie,
for God's most majestic creation is deep inside.
Where nothing fake nor fraudulent will ever appear,
but honesty and truth alone will dwell.
Untouched by imperfection, unscarred by evil.
Perfect pureness touched by God,
misunderstood by man.

Only to that of a songbird
could her voice be compared,
with a sound so melodious,
it eased his every care.

Her soul undoubtedly kind and tender
but upon provocation
would never surrender.

Her eyes like the emerald of the deep green sea,
he could sense the fierceness deep inside,
the thundering, the raging,
the roaring under-tide.
He knew he was being pulled into the deep,
but he could not fight it,
broken with love
he was much to weak.

She was the vision of beauty,
quite picturesque,
beauty so great
unchallenged by the rest.
But this vision of beauty, this Goddess so called,
was oblivious to that
of the young mans love.
For he lacked the strength to tell,
he would know her love
not through heaven
not through hell.

No, instead he will keep on floating
down that long River Nile,
cherishing every wink,
remembering every smile.
Hoping and praying,
that someday she'd see
he was meant for her
and she was meant for he.
