A startled gaze,
a touch,
a kiss,

Why does this heart of mine feel like this?
Without you near, my world feels cold,
but with you here it shimmers to molten gold.

Why do you effect me so?
All of the sudden I have nowhere to go.
You hold me captive with your gaze, then say its just another fase.

My mind wanders constantly,
trying to place you in my reality.
