A doleful chick was passing by,
Thinking of her wicked friend's lie.
Stunned by a world of make-believe,
She was waiting for a reprieve.

A funny bunny caught her eye,
With a smiling face who said, " Hi".
Surprised, the chick asked "Who are you ?"
"Easter Bunny, your friend new."

She said, "I don't want any friend
To wreck me and my heart to rend."
With flopping ears and a cute smile,
He said, "I know this world is vile."
