a sore throat when I tried to talk

I have burnt the remains of my heart
In a fire made from memories
stuck all the pieces that fell apart
without caring for delicacies
I have washed all the blood
and wiped my hands
On the 'white flag' that you will never see

I have changed for another start
Hoping for a better ending
let my sins and good deeds depart
My soul needs mending
