A poem all about what love is really supposed to be, hold your tears girls...
Love,
Is it not the thing that gives us wings
To fly unfathomable distances across the endless oceans of the heart?
And does it not carry that same addictive poison from within its sweet smelling petals?
Love has no other desire but to fulfill itself
Its selflessness thirsts to satisfy others
It is the gentle answer that turns away wrath
It is like a flowing current that runs into sharp rocks,
But forms a new path around it.

Love is when you look into a person's eyes and you see their heart
It is seeing the imperfectly person perfect
I wish you could see yourself the way I see you,
Then you'd know how important you are to me.
For it is beauty that captures our attention,
But personality that captures the heart.
Love speaks to us in mysterious ways...

If you wonder what Love sounds like,
Listen to my breathing in the stillness of the night.
If you wonder what Love smells like,
Breathe me in as I breathe you out.
If you wonder what Love feels like,
Place your body against mine and feel my heart beat in rhythm with yours.
If you wonder what Love looks like,
Glance to your right and know I will never leave your side.
If you wonder what Love tastes like,
Embrace my lips with yours in the pouring rain.

Because the only way to truly love anything is to realize that it might be lost
For love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.

So when the sound of my breathing becomes slow and shallow,
And the only smell comes from your own lungs,
When you feel my heartbeat fading,
And you look to your right to see my warmth and security leaving you,
And when that final kiss fills your eyes with tears,
Don't cry because I'm gone,
Smile because we happened.
