Forever

What is forever? Is anything forever? Is forever a simple illusion of the mind? Made up to make us believe that nothing will end even when an end seems only logical? Or is forever real? Is there a place in the world where nothing ends like the never ending universe? But how would one know when they have reached forever? How would they ever know that they had passed what had been believed to be the end and surpassed it? Reaching forever seems impossible... Maybe that is why so many people desire it. Whether through religion or science. Or maybe it's just because the idea of nothingness is horrifying.
