I love you! For what’s in your heart,
The kindness that you do,
The little jolly things you say, impart,
And just in being you!

You are the anchor for your friends,
Sharing you is hard,
And how they love you! Hope descends,
Through issues they discard.

Shining brightly, in your eyes
Eternal hope, the softest love,
That makes me tend to realise,
I have been blessed by God above.

Yet seldom do I let you know,
Proclaim, eternal truth,
Through your gift of love I grow,
This poem is my proof.
