PETER THE APOSTLE!


And Peter said unto the MASTER:

“Send me forth my LORD,
As thy will is my command.
'Tis true I’ve failed thee in the past,
But I never, never shall again,
Though it cost me everything.

For I have seen thee rise
From death unto eternal life.
Now, I am not the same and
Never again can I be that man,
Who denied he even knew his GOD.”

And the MASTER answered:

“Peter, take now this key to
Heaven's gate and be ye not afraid.
For on this Rock shall thy LORD,
Break all the evils of this world,

And save the souls of all
Who desire to be saved!"
