A silly poem about a gerbil, a cat, and a rabbit.

The Gerbil, The Cat, and The Rabbit

There once was a day
The Gerbil would say
How lovely it was today

The Cat would then ponder
How long he would wander
To reach the poppy field

Then came the Rabbit
Wearing a black top hat
Delivering the morning news

"What a day, What a day!"
Said the black top hat Rabbit
Delivering the morning news

"I am here, I am here!"
Said the Cat that would ponder
To reach the poppy field

" 'Tis the day, 'Tis the day!"
The old Gerbil would say
How lovely it was today
