Listen whilst I unhinge this
Frame of mind
Realize you can't handle
Rail against me
Yet never knock me down
Don't shut me out


Jilted Rosary

Complete utopia
Tears drape
The tulip and chrysanthemum
Cornucopia
You clutch the wilted rose
Abandon my faith

Silent

She no longer has a man
So I better corner the market now that she is on it again
I would die a thousand miserable deaths for you
Throw a thousand sweaters on a thousand puddles
The irony
When I say that I would die for you
Is clear in the reality
That you are my executioner silently
I hope unbeknownst
Because the thought of you intentionally aware
Pervasive betrayal


Purifying Delight

Her name must've been Anette
By the way she caught my eye
No need to fret
Though her lavishness cost an arm and a thigh
Nearly made my pockets kick the bucket
Or barrel
The same one she shot the fish in
Now Carol
Had not a care in the world
We met during the fall as she fell from heaven
Changed her demeanor
I then went in the other direction
Drove me up the wall
And somewhere along the way in our travels
Considered I a filthy scoundrel
Took me to the cleaners
Though there I washed my hands of her
Bathing in this purifying delight
She made her bed so now she needs to tell the truth in it
Quit with the lies


Despair

From a distance you see the despair in my eyes
But that's a far cry


Scars

Noticed the scars on your wrist
Nonchalantly commented
Said despite the pain you feel
You insist
On the self inflicted
For to witness how it heals
Within the process
Brings you solace
That put me back a minute as I pondered
In a life brought up
In turmoil
Reveal
The inner sickness
Sadness sorrowful
Summoning appeal
My shoulder and collar bones
Have now become the perpetual pillow
That you cry yourself to sleep on
Copious torrent of tears drop downwards
In this miserable
Beautiful milieu
Though I'm here for you
Incessant malaise
Whispering echos
My ears the existing confessional
Tell me your previous ways
And veiled secrets
Latent deeply sequestered
Within your privately intriguing residence
Of your mysteriously unseen hiddeness
Blatant hideousness
Bolster your affections
From your
Pitiful plightful despicable fettle
Rid you of all addictions


The resilient blade of grass

The resilient blade of grass
That refuses to sever
I have respect for you
The will to survive
Unfettered
Close to the ground
