Ephemeral Slumber


Brevity is the soul of wit
Strip me of my flesh
Surely this temple will inevitably quit
Clear the air
And not breathe a word of it
In its thinness occurs my disappearance
Lost and naked soul
Zero in on how I bare it
Beautiful depression
Bring me comfort
Succumb to the cumbersome wonderment
Ephemeral slumber
