Broken Heart

a love that ends bad

These tears that fall are like rain
And now they are finally showing my pain.
If things were meant to be this way
Then I will hold back the things I have to say.
I thought it was love that I felt
But now as I sit here thinking my heart melts.
It was the lust in his lips and the love in my eyes
And when we kissed I felt like I could fly.
As he said those two words I stood not making a sound
He walked away and I hit the ground.
My heart shattered and died
All I thought was that he lied.
