You were there when the Holy Spirit came
My awe at the comfort of your spirit
You were there each time I experienced death
My awe at your patience
You were there when I took the wrong path
My awe at your guidance
You were there when I figured out the right path
My awe at your creation
You were there with the birth of children
My awe at your surrounding love
You were there when the baby died
My awe at your direction
You were there when the job change was too much
My awe at your grace
You were there when I turned my back
My awe at your forgiveness
You were there when lived outside your spirit
