As lightening hits the earth.
The black hole in the sky gives birth.
It spirals and unleashes it's horrifying power.
Strips you from your livelihood, and can make the toughest guy a coward.
It can take out the biggest city or the smallest town.
Take all of your valuables and toss them around.
It can bring on darkness in the blink of an eye.
Its seeks you out, while you hide.
The sound is like a train coming through your home.
It shows no mercy no matter how much you scream or moan.
The debris in the after math of the storm.
Creates chaos, and confusion, which lead you to morn.
You wonder if your pictures are in the same place.
You look around and see pain in every wandering face.
You wonder who made it and who died.
you thank the lord that you survived.
You wonder where your suppose to start.
Everything you've known has been ripped apart.
You fall to your knees, crying out why me'
Why did this have to happen to my family.
The truth is you never know.
When mother nature decides to blow.
It comes on in an instant, without any warning.
It travels the distance, no matter night or morning.
It is something beyond our control.
Something so beautiful, yet so powerful.
Its not intentional nor is it deliberate.
Its  something that happens, and you just have to deal with it.
Those who have suffered from the unexpected.
Know, mother nature has no exceptions.
