Love poem. Need suggestions towards ending, use of rhyme, etc.
Quiet your qualms,
Ease your fears,

You’ve only just hit
22 years.

The days are long
And the news has past,

But soon you’d realize that at last.

The stressful days
And forgotten nights

The fears inside
you won’t let take flight.

Put down your fist
and stand your ground,

Don’t let the world
pull you down.

Love with your heart,
Think with your mind,

Perhaps one day
they might intertwine.

Lives are long
and mistakes are made,

You have more chances
than you think you may.

Forget limitations—
withdraw expectations.

Be who you are.
For that alone has gotten you far.

Your love is strong
and dedication severe,

You’re a decent man
who has nothing to fear.

The world is your playground,
so go out and play

And I’ll always hope…
you'd come back someday.

Learn what you must
and see what you can

And I’ll move along
I’ll fall once again—

But nothing will be
Like you and me can.

Today is the day,
that I let it all go,

But your strength
and your passion

I will always withhold.

You’ve stepped on my heart,
Those footprints have stained.

Till death do me part,
They’ll forever remain
