My Knight

Approaches he on his noble steed
His armor shining in the sun
This Lancelot bears another name
But still a heart he has won

Behind dark and deep brown eyes
There lies incomparable wit
Shining honor for all to see
And Christ's light they do emit

Lady fair did not see him coming
A friend she had come to meet
So imagine her surprise
When he swept her off her feet!

Too easily he won her
Just a smile and she fell
He quickly gained a silver key
To the heart she'd hidden well

Now they both wait in suspense
While each other they adore
To see if happily ever after
Is what their future has in store
