|
not including title the poem is 40 lines long Friend Don’t Scream I’ll Mop Up Those Tears And Help Heal Your Bleeding Heart You cry and your sops almost knock me off my feet You’ve never been this down before You’ve never been this deep Yeah you’ve held suicidal thoughts And talked about the emptiness in your heart But in the end we’ve pulled you up You and I In the end you’ve come to telling the world goodbye But now you talk so deeply about your fears come true I try to bring up fairytales Happy thoughts that get us through I tell you about the bright side Trying to get you to look that way But you talk about your family That despair and suffering that happens there I want to hug you tight Tell you they’re is light Tell you the truth And that’s that it will be alright But will you take with me an oath That you’ll listen to me I’ve never felt your suffering So I don’t dare say I have I know that it looks bad And you’re so far away right now You always said it’d be for the best To get away from your sad home All you do is roam But now you grasp for it back Crying out your regrets Who you miss And the roads you’ll choice up ahead I want to cry along with you But I know that’s make you sad When I finally can wipe away those tears And hear your life from the phone cord in my hand I know I’ve never been happier to have ears Friend don’t scream I’ll mop up those tears And help heal your bleeding heart |
