Prince Charming's story from a new perspective
Our storybook adventure is, as always, told
With a Once upon a time, in the time of old
We’ll put in a brave prince and a beautiful princess
And a fiery, fierce dragon just to keep interest
The prince leaves his castle and out he will start
To save the lovely princess and hopefully win her heart
The dragon is huge and fierce and strong
But even that can’t hold the great prince for long
The two finally meet at dawn’s early light
And he finds out who he has fought for with all his might
The prince and princess immediately rush home
And as quickly as possible a new wedding dress is sewn
For a beautiful stranger he was willing to risk his life
But the trouble he caused getting there will cause him no strife
There is in fact another story here to tell
Though it has never been told, I know it very well
That prince did not go without his friends
With him came a knight, the prince to defend
The knight was strong, brave, and noble
Every obstacle he met, he reduce it to rubble
That dragon with hot, flaming breath
By the prince, did not meet his death
In fact the dragon was distracted
So the prince’s flight away was very rapid
He rushed up the stairs to the princess’s beautiful room
But by leaving the maid there, he made it her tomb
For the dragon was one with a terrible temper
And with the princess gone, he would kill her
But the knight considered the dragon a test
On which was fighter good, and which fighter was best
The knight beat the dragon (how else could this end?)
He rescued the maid and they became friends
After saving her life, a friendship is hard from the start
He caught her eye and she stole his heart
They looked for adventure in every single way
And lived and loved to the end of their days
Now our story must end with that old, ancient line
They lived happily ever after to the end of time
