| And Then Scott Connelly I am driving my car. It is late at night, with a moonless sky. The highway is straight and long; it is monotonous. There is nothing to see out of the windows. And then… I am driving my car. The radio is not on; there is nothing interesting to listen to anyway. And then… I am in my car, and I am alone. The seat is empty beside me. And then… I look in my rearview mirror. There are no cars; there is nothing behind me. And then… I look in my rearview mirror, and see a man sitting in the seat behind me. He is holding a shotgun.
