Walking down the tunnel,
a hallowed out mountain-dark but breezy
and has no turning back,
it just goes on and on,
spreading further and further
beyond the sight unseen
towards a destination unknown
longer and longer,
stretching beyond what i could not even dream...
Sometimes i laugh, sometimes i cry,
sometimes i shreik of both fear and joy,
dances of merriment and tears so sour
all shred within the within the hallowed out cove
and one day-fine or not, i would not know
come you, off nowhere
my feelings unfathomed-
happy or sad nor i know
i've laughed; i've smiled
not that i've had my doubts,
as the days goes on with you by my side
i hope the tunnel leads to a place
bright and sunny and our white-fence dream
with you by my side
forever and after
