My thoughts on North Korea. |
By now every person should have heard that North Korea has declared martial law. North Korean leader Kim Jung-Un has told his military to be on high alert and to be ready for war. Many around the world believe he is bluffing and only trying to scare the United States so that the United States and the UN (United Nations) lift sanctions. Sadly I do not think they are bluffing this time. It is my opinion that the North Korean leadership has finally got annoyed with the UN (United Nations) and the United States bullying them and telling them what they can and cannot do. There have been reports that United States special forces have been going into North Korean territory at night and taking out certain top military officials that Kim Jung-Un had appointed. If these reports are correct, then North Korea has every reason to be highly alert and ready for war. Personally I find it disturbing that the United States, which has plenty of Nuclear weapons, and wants to build a missle "defense" system all through Europe, has the right to tell other nations they need to either: A. Lessen how many nuclear weapons they have. Or B. Tell nations they are not allowed to develop nuclear weapons. Yes nuclear weapons are extremely dangerous and have no place in any part of the world, but if countries feel threatened by nations that have nuclear weapons, then they should have the right to create nuclear weapons themselves. Will North Korea actually keep their word and start a war? Only time can answer that question. But one thing is certain, the world is on thin ice and nations are starting to get more and more defensive about the things going on around them. |
