It Happened On A Saturday

I was sitting in front of the television set and watching Tarzan and the Super Seven when I heard an explosion coming from outside our house.

I ran over to the window and saw that the house across the street was blown straight to hell.

I wanted to go over and see the damage for myself.

But my mom told me to stay in the house before she called the fire department.

After she done that, we heard a knock at the door.

It was my best friend Peter Cassidy and he was scared out of his mind because it was his house that blew up and it was because his dad was trying one of his homemade science experiments again.

That was before my dad walked into the house and allowed Peter to hug his mom before telling us that his dad was killed while creating a new fuel.
