Acoustic Moon

I’d never heard you play before,
you knew I liked that tune.
It sounded different somehow,
I don’t know why, maybe it was the moon.

I closed my eyes and drifted off,
  as the music filled my mind.
Absorbing the sound of every note.
  Not just played - defined.

As each chord gently faded,
disappearing in the night.
Everything seemed good,
for once my world seemed right.

Silence brought back reality,
but I never really knew
What had so affected me
                        ……the music…
                                …the moon,
                                …Or you?
