I would like to say that if you really want to write for a living and have considered article writing as well as creative writing, hubpages.com is a decent place to begin. It takes a bit of time depending on how quickly you get decent articles written there, but this is a great way to build passive income at least until you can afford your own website. It is recommended that you do mostly article writing to get started as you will get more organic (google and other search engine) traffic for that type of writing than creative writing, until you build up a following.
