because every day is mothers day!
dear mum,

i recall with vivid nostalgia all the memories,
when i ran all the way from school and as sure as my memory,
you were always waiting there, ready with an enveloping embrace.
then followed the motherly scolds, of how messy i looked
i wondered whether you slapped me, or merely patted my face.

you taught me, mum, beauty and compassion
you taught me appreciation for the little things in life.
i regret the truant periods in my life, then when i thought i was better off alone.
but you never gave up on me, you cried and smiled
all at the same time on my immature mischief's.

i miss those days.i do mum.just know that i really do
i cherished them as i do the smell of earth on a light drizzle
well, you may never understand, or ever see with crystalness as i wish
even with your unheralded intuition.

i may never know, or even find the right words,
or ever equate your your tenderness.
and this be my prayer mum:
that the rains never wash away our times,
that the winds never blow away your footprints from my life,
and that my tears, for i know i will cry, never mop away your kisses from my face.
