Always Noise, Everywhere Noise, Funny Noise?

Did you hear that,
Over there,
Was it a cat?
Can't be that!

Sounds bizarre,
A broken car?
Maybe not,
I am losing the plot!

There it is,
Mind your biz,
A scratching noise?
A monster's voice?

Deary me am on the edge,
Might be safer on the ledge,
Or hiding in a bag of snakes,
Anything to keep me awake!

Time to take the fatal leap,
Uncover my eyes to take a peep,
I need a respirator!!

Alas my heart begins to crumble,
I can hear a dull rumble,
Fear is ever close.
