This poem is about life's thrills through the eyes of fearless children. |
Every time I see a chalkboard, I am reminded of two little girls— Fearless rule breakers climbing a Staircase with their makeshift Slide, seeking the thrill of a Rollercoaster ride only known inside Their curious minds. Faster and faster they fly down the Stairs—Thump! Stopped by the wall, The ride is over. With their blue eyes Wide open, there is a moment of intense Silence, followed by a thousand little Giggles—skipping away together, Holding hands, back up the stairs they go. |
