I always like Fall
Best
The crisp chill in the air
As the weather gets colder.
The first time you slip on your jacket
Is like greeting an old friend.
Walks in the evening
With the warm air blowing,
The last breath of summer.
Sweet, gooey apple pies
Baking, filling your home
With their sweet aroma.
Outside, floating to the ground, you see
Leaves
From green and yellow to orange and brown.
They make a path
And crinkle and crunch
When you walk down the street.
You can smell someone burning
Those bright orange leaves,
Somewhere in the distance.
Bonfires, hayrides, and tall-grown food
Nights get longer,
Sunsets seem brighter
The most serene time of year.
