A poem with a visual prompt about giving ones heart to God (Jesus) |
| The heart dances to a rhymic beat Moving out from the body so it could see A large kind man with gentle hand, Beckoning me to know a Saviors plan. I walk in a steady step to get Into outstretched arms, no need to fret. The love radiated from a sacred place calling to to know a word called "grace". I run and and feel my heart race rapid. I know not what might help me stop it. A gentle voice says one need only open, There was only one I did need to hope in. Stopped for an eternal moment did my heart A salve to soothe all wounds and hurt A moment to pause and savor satisfaction Jesus Christ was the main attraction See my heart in the savior's grasp. Listen carefully to what you too might have. A smiling face, calm peaceful eyes, I promise that you'll never die. |
