A board game about herding cats |
| My favorite game is Herd the Cats Don't laugh, I like to play The goal is pure frustration It brightens the whole day I can purchase helpful items Claw covers, toy mice, catnips The Leather Glove's costly But my skin's not shredded strips I must find all four felines Tricky, Lazy, Stubborn,Scoot But for fifteen cat food bucks I can buy a Herding Boot Tricky hides in a cat condo Whose spaces number ten If I don't find him in two tries I go round the board again I relish moving Lazy's bod He clutches with his claws Plus, his weight's amazing It defies nature's laws Stubborn's routine is precious For her I employ a bribe Or two, six, perhaps eleven She claims Queenhood in this tribe Little Scoot's a kitten He can race anywhere But chase him up the curtain He mews pathetically, stuck there This game soothes my spirit I'm reminded that my life Filled with seven barking dogs Contains a lot less strife |
