Burglar detection!
Is that what I hear?     
My home security
Will soon make it clear

Modern technology
Cannot be gamed
With my up to date system
Those burglars stand tamed

The faint sound of foot steps
The creak of the door
I hear a plate crashing
A chair hits the floor

The police have been summoned
My system did that!
Now they’ve arrived
We’ll catch the thief flat

AZIZ LIGHT!
(Who knows what that means?)
The lights are now on
But I don’t like the scene

The chair’s been picked up
That plate’s back in the sink
The door is shut tight
Not a thing’s on the blink

There’s no burglar in sight
But the culprit is plain
It’s just my son
Sneaking in late again
