Footfalls caress our bedroom carpet's nap.
Silken whispers of her gown slip inside,
Cozy dreams as darkness allows a gap
That rolls me under fitful slumber's tide.
Awake in splendor in our love abide-
Awake to days built with the Lord's own plan.
In sun's glow dear sweet love come and reside;
Kiss now, her radiant face , hold her hand.
Dawn's honey rays lift us to rise, expand,
Embrace her beauty golden, glorious day
Eyes on eyes, as one together we stand,
Voice to voice, one with His Spirit we pray.
Embrace me my honey wife, love renew-
Your smile ignites the day light within you.
