A Voice To Be Heard

I have ideas, I have feelings,
Deep inside, I am bleeding.
They're all trapped inside me,
Like a message bottle, in the sea.

I wish someone could see,
How badly I want to set them free.
But what if they don't understand?
I'll feel like I don't belong to this land.

I think twice before I speak,
I don't want to sound like a freak.
Everything they do is better than me,
That's the world, the way I see.

What if all this is just a paradigm,
I don't have to be voiceless, like a mime.
I just might be one of a kind,
The voice someone is trying to find.

One day the world will hear,
The voice stuck behind my fear.
They will laugh, of that I'm scared.
But one day, I will be prepared.
