a tribute: I'm so glad of what you do

I never ran a server
couldn’t think how I would start
I’ve never made a budget
or encrypted shopping carts

once I answered help desk calls—
but I was not the boss
and when it comes to site design
I’m really at a loss

and so, when I say that I’m awed
at what you two can do
just be aware, I’ve no idea
what you are going through

there may be days when nothing works
except duct tape and glue
but at my end, I never see
the dancing you must do

I love the site—it gives me hope
that I can really write
it gives me friends and challenges—
that twist me to new heights

you are the reason that I trust
my writing’s not in vain
and that is why I thank you,
over, over, and again
