Being born on the Fourth of July, my astrological sign is Cancer. I've always been a moody girl who felt things very deeply, who has great memory, the girl people come to for advice, and of course the major trait: I'm an introvert. in September 2001 - a proud afterthought
as we drove to the Elmwood Park Zoo.
"Wow," she said, "your memories aren't few!"
We drive along, in 2014, these streets taught

me in the five years I sought-
education, friends, mood swings, battles fought,
I should have listened to my gut too.

like September eleventh, fear high and emotions frought
through PTSD; I retreat to my shell not malt,
hiding away in sand, avoiding everything new-
