There was a Dog

A dog is red and turns yellow

There was a dog named Red,
Who got out of his bed.
He ran through the forest,
and jumped a bog,
Which turned his coat yellow
Red looked for his fellows,
Who howled he was yellow!
He said to them "I am Red."
They howled NO! and ran to their shed.
So Yellow/Red shook his head,
then ran through the forest,
and jumped the bog,
which turned him Red.
He went home and to his bed.
